Visitors to the world-famous Edinburgh’s Hogmanay Festival will be able to enjoy an enhanced digital experience this year with the appointment of intechnologyWiFi as Official Communications Partner. They will benefit from seamless, always-on mobile connectivity, at no cost.

This will allow visitors to share their experience of Edinburgh’s Hogmanay in real time with friends and family all over the world using the award-winning #blogmanay social media campaign. We are delighted to be working with Unique Events as the official WiFi partner for Edinburgh’s Hogmanay.

We are especially excited about improving the digital experience at Edinburgh’s Hogmanay and look forward to making sure that the city’s amazing festival goes from strength to strength. The fact that the great Scottish singer Paolo Nutini is adding another Hogmanay date on December 30 shows how much excitement there is this year.

The company is installing additional hardware in preparation for the Edinburgh’s Hogmanay Festival. Once fully operational, the WiFi platform will allow millions of people to enhance their experience of living, working and visiting in Edinburgh. It will also provide multiple opportunities for local businesses to connect with new and existing customers to develop the city economy.

The City of Edinburgh Council has signed a 10-year contract with intechnologyWiFi to deliver free WiFi coverage to Edinburgh city centre, providing residents and visitors with access to free, high-speed internet.
